With NAMI National Convention in Washington DC this year, more of your friends from the Treatment Advocacy Center will be on hand than ever.
Multiple staff members will be at Booth 410 every day of the convention, and board members will be dropping by.
If you’re an old friend, please come see us. If you’re a new friend, please come introduce yourself!
On Saturday at 1:30 pm, Treatment Advocacy Center Executive Director Doris A. Fuller will be one of six distinguished panelists involved in "Refocusing the Conversation: Strategies for Engaging people in Needed Services and Supports," a special policy forum. The 2.5-hour session will explore how best to engage hard-to-reach individuals in treatment and supportive services. The extended discussion is intended to establish "respectful dialogue" and to build consensus on "topics that frequently divide advocates and prevent progress."
The session will run from 1:30-4 pm on September 6 in Marriott Ballroom Salons 2 and 3.
